February 2022
KDM founded
KDM started just a few months out of high school with a love for vintage and an idea. We were pretty much figuring everything out as we went and had no idea what the next few years would bring.
June 2022
Doors Opened
Just a few months later, we opened the doors to our first storefront. It gave us a place to fill with vintage finds, meet our customers in person, and start figuring out what we wanted KDM to become
October 2022
Discovery of Embroidery
We started on a small Brother embroidery machine with absolutely no clue how to use it. After a lot of YouTube videos, trial and error, and selling a few things to friends, we started to realize this could actually turn into something big.
February 2023
Launched Our Website
We finally brought KDM online and eventually discovered we could offer our products on other platforms like TikTok Shop. We decided to give it a try, and within our first day, we got our first order. It opened our eyes to how many people we could reach outside of our storefront
2023 - Present
Two Locations & Featured on Multiple Platforms
What started small really started to take off. We expanded onto multiple online platforms, grew our embroidery side way more than we ever expected, and eventually separated the two sides of KDM. Today, we have our embroidery location in Front Royal and our vintage shop inside the Strasburg Emporium — and we're still figuring out what's next for KDM
